Goal setting

Goals are important. Don’t kid yourself. If you’re not pursuing anything in life, chances are you’re hired by someone or married with someone who is making sure that you are pursuing what they find to be their goals. Do they align with your own best interest? If so, fine – you found the right job or the right wife/husband. If not – what are you going to do about it? Can you align your managers goals with your own goals or do you maybe need to find a new job? Is your spouse disregarding your existence and making you work for their interests? Can you live with that? If not, speak up. Or leave. What the hell do I know – I’m 24 and never had a girlfriend. My point is, that you should at least do something. And you can always do something. Stop being a pessimist and start seeing opportunities. And stop arguing with me while you are reading this. You can change. You can act and do something different. Stop hiding behind the fact that your life is so damn hard and miserable and take control of your fucking existence. Own your life. Your mistakes and your achievements. It’s all character building. Stop settling for less than what you are worth.

Always be a goal digger

Clear your mind, find a pen and a piece of paper and write down something that you can strive towards. Whether it’s professional or hobby related, you should always have something to aim towards. You can’t hit the target if you don’t know what you are aiming at.

If you wanna know what I aimed at in 2016 – and what I achieved, I recommend you press this link. If you don’t care about what I wanted to achieve in 2016, but merely want a helping hand to get started with setting up your own goals (I fully understand, I would never have pressed the first link anyway. It doesn’t even lead to anywhere, I just changed the color of the font) you can just press this link and get started. I was obviously joking with the first link. It leads to somewhere.
